About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Abraham Holdings, Inc. as a Tax Specialist. You will play a key role in the company's tax compliance and planning efforts, ensuring the organisation meets all its tax obligations. This full-time position is based in Pasig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and filing local tax returns, including income, sales and property tax
  2. Conducting tax planning and research to identify potential savings and optimise the company's tax position
  3. Analysing financial data and transactions to determine the appropriate tax treatment
  4. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and advising the business accordingly
  5. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
  6. Providing support and guidance to other departments on tax-related matters
  7. Maintaining detailed tax records and documentation

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  2. 2-3 years' experience in a tax accounting or tax advisory role, preferably within the Accounting industry
  3. Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax laws and regulations
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficient in using tax preparation software and spreadsheet applications
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
