Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that support business intelligence, data warehousing, and analytics solutions.
  2. Define data standards, governance, and integration frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  3. Oversee the selection and implementation of data management tools and technologies (e.g., cloud solutions, ETL tools, data lakes, data warehouses).
  4. Evaluate emerging data architecture trends and solutions to continuously improve the data architecture framework.

Business Development and Client Engagement:

  1. Collaborate with sales and client teams to identify client needs and translate business requirements into data solutions.
  2. Participate in proposal development, preparing technical content to support business development activities.
  3. Lead or contribute to client presentations, showcasing the data architecture capabilities and solutions.
  4. Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities during client interactions to drive additional business value.

Technical Leadership and Project Management:

  1. Lead data architecture design and implementation projects, providing technical direction and guidance to project teams.
  2. Ensure that projects align with client goals and follow best practices in data architecture and security.
  3. Act as a liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring that data solutions meet functional, operational, and analytical requirements.
  4. Mentor and guide junior data architects and data engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

Data Governance and Compliance:

  1. Establish data governance processes, including data quality, security, and compliance policies.
  2. Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure that data architectures comply with relevant regulations.
  3. Implement data privacy controls and support audits to verify adherence to governance policies and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification on AWS/Google
  • Data Quality analysis knowledge

Nice to have:

  • Snowflake architecture certification or practical experience
  • Databricks certification or practical experience
