Role Description
  • Lead the GEC team in delivering complex projects that involve staff from different disciplines and services.
  • Serve as 'Task Manager' of the project and the main point of contact for the GE.
Role Accountabilities
  • Liaise with the Project Director/Manager and Discipline Leads to stay informed of developments and changes associated with the project.
  • Oversee the multidisciplinary design team while providing technical leadership to project teams.
  • Be responsible for financial and project management controls which enable monitoring, modification, and forecasting as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with internal and, if required, external architects, engineers, modelers, and managers to align strategic objectives.
  • Lead task reviews and submit copies to the BA Project Leads.
  • Work with the Pursuit team in creating winning delivery strategies, cost projects, and ensuring high GEC engagement on projects.
  • Promote the utilization of available SOPs, Standards, and Digital Tools on the project.
  • Apply Arcadis Health and Safety Principles during the delivery of the work and ensure safe working conditions for the team.
  • Perform the role following the Arcadis Behavioral Framework.
  • Help create client presentations, technical reports, and communicate technical concepts.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience delivering large scale projects with a strong financial background related to projects and client management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in reviewing drawings and multi-discipline designs on digital platforms.
  • Experience working with projects that utilize fundamental knowledge of Autodesk Platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions.
  • Obtain Certified Project Management (CPM) certification status.
  • Basic understanding of project scheduling principles and concepts.
  • Preferred certifications (PE, RA, PMP).
  • Practical sustainability experience; unique mechanical systems are a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, motivating, and delegation skills.
