Staff Psychologist | Cebu (On-Site)Job SummaryWe are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience working in a BPO setting or with individuals exposed to high-stress, trauma-heavy industries. The Staff Psychologist will play a key role in ensuring the mental and emotional well-being of our employees by offering one-on-one counseling, wellness programs, crisis intervention, and mental health training. This is a full-time, on-site position, requiring regular interaction with employees in both Cebu and Davao locations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one confidential counseling to employees dealing with work-related stress, personal challenges, or mental health concerns.
- Offer group therapy sessions or support groups for employees who may benefit from peer support.
- Assess mental health concerns and provide recommendations or referrals as needed.
- Design and implement workplace wellness initiatives focused on stress management, resilience, and emotional well-being.
- Develop and facilitate training sessions & workshops on topics such as:
- Burnout prevention
- Coping with high-stress environments
- Mental health awareness
- Trauma and crisis response
- Act as the first point of contact for employees experiencing acute mental health crises.
- Provide psychological first aid for employees who have dealt with traumatic or distressing situations on the job.
- Implement a mental health response framework for handling severe stress, anxiety, or crisis cases.
- Work closely with HR, operations managers, and leadership to integrate mental health strategies into company policies and culture.
- Provide guidance on workplace adjustments for employees dealing with mental health challenges.
- Identify common workplace stressors and offer solutions to enhance overall employee well-being.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- Must be a licensed psychologist in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 3 years experience providing counseling, therapy, or mental health support.
- Experience working in a BPO environment or with employees in high-stress or trauma-exposed industries.
- Strong counseling and psychotherapy skills.
- Expertise in crisis intervention and trauma support.
- Ability to develop and lead mental health training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High cultural sensitivity to effectively support a diverse workforce.
- Certification in Trauma-Informed Care, Workplace Mental Health, or Crisis Intervention.
- Prior experience in corporate wellness programs or workplace mental health initiatives.
- Experience leading group therapy or support groups in a workplace setting.
- Familiarity with mental health policies, compliance, and ethical guidelines in the workplace.
- Knowledge of stress management, resilience training, and mindfulness techniques.
- Ability to collaborate with HR and leadership to implement employee mental wellness initiatives.
