Shopify Specialist

The Shopify Specialist is responsible for developing, optimising, and maintaining high-performing e-commerce stores on the Shopify platform. The role includes theme customisation, app integration, and user experience improvements that help drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and customise Shopify stores to client specifications.
• Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet client needs.
• Identify, integrate, and manage Shopify apps to improve store functionality and customer experience.
• Implement SEO, page speed, and mobile responsiveness best practices for e-commerce stores.
• Assist with product uploads, inventory updates, and categorisation to keep stores organised and accurate.
• Analyse store performance and recommend improvements to conversion rate and average order value.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for theme and app issues.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and clients to align store functionality with business goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of Shopify development experience with a strong e-commerce track record.
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
