With Hotel Experience
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Purchasing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate has hotel purchasing experience and strong negotiation, coordination, and inventory management skills.
Qualifications:
- With experience in hotel purchasing or procurement
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in purchasing procedures, supplier sourcing, and inventory control
- Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Able to coordinate effectively with different hotel departments and suppliers
Job Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders
- Source suppliers and canvass products to obtain competitive prices and quality
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and payment terms
- Ensure purchased items meet the hotel's quality standards and requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with the receiving, kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments as needed
- Ensure compliance with hotel purchasing policies and procedures
