The Role

As a Software QA Engineer, you have the opportunity to make a difference in our clients, the community, and within yourself.

You will be collaborating with team members and our clients in ensuring that the applications that we develop and the processes we use comply with defined specifications.

You will guide our clients in managing their test activities and processes, and drive their testing strategy to help them achieve their goals and make a difference in the lives of their customers.

Your Team

  • You will be working with a team of software testers to ensure the quality of the applications that we create.
  • You will be collaborating with the client's development and business team to ensure functionalities are consistently assessed for quality.
  • You will be mentoring at least 1 Software QA Engineer

Your Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with the Clients and follow their test automation activities and processes, from planning, execution, reporting, and maintenance.
  2. Assess and review the technology and framework to ensure that test automation scripts are effective and efficient.
  3. Work with Software Development and Manual QA teams to ensure new functionalities and changes to existing functionalities are covered.
  4. Create, manage and review test automation scripts.
  5. Focus on continuous test automation enhancements and identify areas of improvement.
  6. Implement steps and strategies to improve test automation practices.
  7. Gather and present test automation metrics for the projects to key stakeholders.
  8. Identify and develop innovative test automation frameworks.

About You

You are/have: (required skills needed)

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate of any computer related course

Qualifications:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related course.
  2. QA experience with complex software applications and systems.
  3. Experience in creating and executing test plans across different test phases.
  4. Experience in creating test reports and interpreting them to be used for future improvements.
  5. At least 3 years of experience in Test Automation.
  6. Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Java.
  7. Experience in performing User Acceptance Testing is preferred.
  8. Experience in Agile development (Scrum, Kanban).
  9. Ability to understand the business value of a system in order to create and execute detailed test scenarios.
  10. Strong sense of ownership and pride in the quality of work.
  11. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  12. Team player, self-motivated, good communicator, driven, and committed.

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
