Job Summary
The Broiler Farm Manager oversees all operations of the broiler farm, ensuring optimal flock performance, biosecurity, and overall farm efficiency. This role includes managing farm personnel, coordinating production activities, and implementing strategic farm management practices to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and operational safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine or related course
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial poultry farm management or similar operations
- Strong knowledge of broiler flock management, feed programs, vaccination schedules, and biosecurity protocols
- Proven leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to stay on-site at the farm
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily broiler farm operations, including feeding, health management, and environmental control
- Monitor flock performance and implement corrective measures to optimize productivity
- Develop, implement, and enforce biosecurity, safety, and quality protocols
- Supervise, train, and mentor farm staff to ensure adherence to operational and technical standards
- Coordinate with maintenance, feed, and technical teams for efficient workflow and resource utilization
- Prepare and present operational reports, production metrics, and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
