Artist (For Pooling)

Fresh Prints is a New York based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them the training, and support to build the business at their schools.

The Art Team creates a mock-up for every single order at Fresh Prints. Examples of these mock-ups are:

• Vectorizing a client's design
• Placing their vector logo on a template
• Creating something original

The art team is one of our top selling points and is responsible for making sure these templates get to clients quickly and with outstanding quality.

At Fresh Prints, we provide design mentorship, frequent workshops to improve technical abilities, as well as time to experiment on creating original artwork. A successful Fresh Prints artist loves design, is excited by a fast-paced environment, and loves learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Upload mock-up and/or Art as quickly and as high quality as possible while making few mistakes.
• Ensure the Artwork meets the client's or manager's specifications.
• Study and learn fashion and design trends in the US among our clients.
• Maintain professionalism and always go the extra mile for the team.
• Complete a set number of deliverables per day, as discussed in training.
• Communicate with the Campus Managers as needed to ensure our proofs meet their needs.
• Collaborate with fellow artists to complete design tasks and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and our logistics team.
• Report to one of the art managers on the leadership team.
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings to discuss goals and individual performance.

Personal Attributes

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Reliable and available with frequent access to phone and email.
• A good sense of what's trendy/cool.
• A keen eye for details and ability to adhere to instructions.

Technical Requirements

• Expertise in using Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience creating vector graphics, sometimes from low-resolution source material.
• Ability to recreate art with the pen tool or tablets.
• A well-functioning computer & a strong and stable internet and power connection.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary ranges from $400 - $900 depending on your schedule and responsibilities.
• We cover the cost of your Adobe Illustrator license.

Details

• This is a remote "work from home" position.
• Work hours would be from 9PM to 7AM Manila Time.

Start date is between June to August 2025.
