Motorized Rider

Overview

The Delivery Driver distributes products promptly to the stores.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Transport products to retail stores and stockists
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts; complete logs and reports
• Ensure proper loading and unloading processes
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Report needed repairs, accidents, or violations

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver with basic vehicle maintenance background
• Hands-on experience with communications and navigation equipment
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Valid professional driver’s license 1, 2, 3

Schedule

8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay

Ability to Commute/Relocate

Manila: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience

• Delivery Driver: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification

• PDL (preferred)
