Job Description
  • Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance, inspecting, testing, and diagnosing electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving electrical problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Installation: Installing new electrical systems, components, and wiring.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaboration: Working with other technicians, engineers, and professionals on complex projects.
  • Emergency Response: Responding to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing and measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Troubleshooting Abilities: Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Systems: Understanding of electrical principles, components, and systems (motors, transformers, switchgear, etc.).
  • Reading Schematics: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
