We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of our business and drive our financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments. As a Director of Finance, you should be a dependable professional with extensive knowledge of accounting, finance, and business principles. You should be a strategic thinker and an effective leader, capable of making decisions that maximize profitability. Your primary goal will be to guide the company towards sustained profitability and long-term success. Responsibilities Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.) Leading and managing the finance department with approx. 10 team members Oversee all audit and internal control operations Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives Ensure adherence to financial laws and guideline Someone who can oversee an Internationally operating company Developing, educating and leading the finance department Requirements Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar role In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and financial management software (e.g. SAP) BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus CPA or other relevant qualification experienced working in the UAE, finance field, 2018 onwards (would be of great advantage) An analytical mind with a strategic ability Living hands‑on mentality; can provide finance system training to the job, can analyze system and processes in deep dive for diagnostic and improvement Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Strong drive and positive attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
