Treasury Supervisor

Job Summary The Treasury Supervisor at PYC Foods Corporation plays a critical role in safeguarding the company’s financial stability and liquidity through effective management of debt, banking relationships, and cash flow strategies. Reporting directly to the Treasury Head, this position is responsible for end-to-end treasury operations—including the administration of loan facilities, cash management, trade importation documentation, and employee retirement funds. The Treasury Supervisor also ensures compliance with financial regulations, optimizes facility utilization, and strengthens the company’s relationships with partner banks to support business growth and operational efficiency. Main Duties and Responsibilities A. Key Accountabilities Debt & Credit Facility Management Manage the company’s entire loan portfolio, including short-term and long-term credit lines, term loans, and other financing facilities. Handle the end-to-end process for loan availments , drawdowns, rollovers, and settlements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee facility utilization and maintain comprehensive monitoring reports on all borrowings and credit lines. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all compliance reports to banks and financial institutions. Manage and process letters of credit (LCs) and telegraphic transfers (TTs) for importation and trade-related transactions. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for trade importation applications, documentation, and monitoring. Analyze financing structures, assist in negotiating favorable loan terms, and provide recommendations to senior management. Bank Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partner banks and financial institutions. Manage bank reporting and facility utilization updates, ensuring transparency and consistency in communication. Conduct regular reviews of banking services, fees, and service quality to ensure cost-effectiveness. Act as the main point of contact for all banking-related matters, including account opening/closing, bank mandates, and issue resolution. Stay updated on foreign exchange (forex) rates and market trends to assist in managing the company’s currency exposure and related transactions. Maintain proficiency in online banking platforms for fund transfers, approvals, and monitoring. Compliance & Reporting Ensure all treasury operations comply with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory standards, including BSP requirements. Prepare comprehensive treasury reports covering debt schedules, interest analysis, cash flow summaries, and facility utilization updates. Provide audit support and ensure timely submission of all required treasury documentation to internal and external auditors. Retirement Fund & Trustee Management Serve as the company’s primary liaison with the bank-trustee managing the employee retirement fund. Oversee retirement fund contributions, investment monitoring, and payout coordination in compliance with the Trust Agreement and Philippine regulations (RA 7641, BIR, SEC). Regularly review retirement fund performance, trustee service levels, and fees to ensure alignment with company goals. Coordinate with HR and Payroll for accurate and timely remittances to the trustee. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a strong advantage. Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, banking, or related fields. At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of credit facilities, letters of credit (LC), telegraphic transfers (TT), and trade importation documentation. Proficient in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and facility utilization tracking. Knowledgeable in online banking systems, forex operations, and retirement fund monitoring. Familiarity with Philippine financial regulations and BSP reporting requirements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and bank relationship management skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite preferred). Other Qualities Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high integrity and accountability. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
