Role Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Google Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to drive cloud strategy and transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture & Strategy
    • Define cloud architecture and roadmap aligned to business goals
    • Lead assessment, migration, and modernization strategies to GCP
  • Solution Design & Implementation
    • Design end-to-end cloud-native and hybrid solutions using Google Cloud Platform services
    • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with senior IT leaders, enterprise architects, and business teams
    • Translate business needs into robust cloud solutions and technical deliverables
  • Governance & Best Practices
    • Establish cloud governance, standards, and operational best practices
    • Ensure compliance, security, and performance optimization across environments
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring
    • Guide development teams on architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure automation
    • Mentor junior architects and engineers on cloud adoption and innovation
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of total IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on GCP architecture experience
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (active)
  • Deep knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, VPC, Cloud Functions, IAM, GKE, etc.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Designing large-scale distributed systems
    • Migration of legacy applications to GCP
    • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.)
    • CI/CD and DevOps principles
  • Solid understanding of security, networking, identity, and compliance in cloud environments
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud setups is a plus
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
