Transplant Coordinator

Overview The Transplant Coordinator (TC) coordinates all aspects of organ transplantation for all MMC transplant recipients, including clinical and procurement duties through maintenance and management of the transplant recipient database, collation and synthesis of pertinent patient records used to assess organ match, communication and education of patient’s family, and close collaboration with members of the healthcare team. Responsibilities Planning – reviews transplant policies and ensuring accrediting bodies’ standards are integrated as well Organizing – creates and maintains a database of all transplant recipients and all organ and tissue donors, including medical records of living organ and tissue donors and their follow-up visits Directing and Controlling – coordinates with different branches of hospital about workups, clearances, and other requirements needed prior to organ procurement and transplantation Qualifications Registered Nurse Member of the Philippine Nurse Association (PNA) At least three (3) years of clinical experience Applications are welcome.
