Job Summary
The GIS / SPUD Specialist will manage the mapping of EnerZone Group’s assets and ensure accurate, consistent, and timely updates to the Geographic Information System (GIS). This role is crucial in supporting operational efficiency, asset tracking, and record accuracy. The position also oversees billing activities related to the installation, maintenance, or replacement of streetlights in the franchise area.

• Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data (e.g., GPS, satellite imagery, field surveys) for asset mapping.
• Maintain and update GIS maps and asset data across all EnerZone locations.
• Recommend and coordinate corrections for map and spatial data inaccuracies.
• Monitor GIS hardware/software performance and service provider execution of GIS-related work orders.
• Conduct field surveys and validate project outcomes.
• Digitize completed work orders for system consistency.
• Prepare and manage billing for streetlight and street pole projects within the franchise area.
• Support company safety initiatives and comply with IMS, AMS, and Data Privacy policies.
  

• A bachelor’s degree in any engineering course.
• Must be a Licensed Engineer.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role in a distribution utility is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
• Preferably with knowledge and skills with the following: Data and Maps Management, Cartography and Surveying, Billing Management for Streetlights and related infrastructure, and GIS tools/software.
• Preferably with a professional driver's license (at least A, B, and B2)
