Finance Manager Finance Manager role focusing on month‑end close, financial reporting, audit coordination and tax return preparation within a fast‑growth renewable energy company in Manila. Responsibilities Active participation in monthly financial close and oversight of the accounting team. Account reconciliation and analysis for prepaid expenses, deposits, accrued expenses, investments, capital leases, inter‑company balances and other key accounts. Maintenance of recurring journal entries and allocation entries. Organization and updating of accounting records, both digital and physical records. Planning, coordination and execution of the annual financial audit. Assistance in the compilation of information for the company’s annual tax returns. Development and implementation of policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls and enforcement of proper accounting methods. Preparation and analysis of various financial reports on transactions. Performance of regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments. Support and execution of the responsibilities of the Finance & Accounting department. Time allocation on Financial Statement preparation and analysis, budget and variance issues, and forecasting. Provision of financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts; preparing reports. Qualifications At least 3–5 years’ experience in insurance finance & accounting or a related field. Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with accounting software, such as FreshBooks, QuickBooks, SAP and Zoho. Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPS and pivot tables). Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information. BSc degree in Accounting or Finance. Active CPA license preferred.
