Overview

IT Specialist opportunity at Elevate Calls Inc. Location: Permanent Work From Home. Elevate Calls Inc. is a dynamic and rapidly expanding telecommunications company seeking an IT Support Specialist to help ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure with a focus on Linux administration, Windows Server/Virtual Hyper-V, cloud technology, web hosting, VoIP systems, domain management, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Administer Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage Windows Server and Virtual Hyper-V environments for efficient operation.
  • Utilize cloud technologies to enhance scalability and flexibility of IT systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot web hosting environments, with a focus on Cloudron web hosting experience.
  • Handle VoIP systems, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX, to support telecommunication services.
  • Manage domain registration and DNS settings with providers like GoDaddy and Cloudflare.
  • Oversee S3 bucket storage management to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Utilize programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel to support web development projects.
  • Manage email servers and possess knowledge of Group Office software for efficient communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Linux administration, Windows Server/Virtual Hyper-V, and cloud technology.
  • Familiarity with web hosting environments; Cloudron web hosting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in VoIP systems administration, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX.
  • Experience with domain management through providers like GoDaddy and Cloudflare.
  • Knowledge of S3 bucket storage management and best practices.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel.
  • Experience in email server management and familiarity with Group Office software is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
