Security Operations Technician – CyberArk & SIEM Philippines Description

Position: Security Operations Technician – CyberArk & SIEM

Reports to: Technical Team Lead – Security Applications

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Operations Technician with hands-on experience in CyberArk and SIEM technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, performance, and improvement of our privileged access management and security monitoring platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Security and Infrastructure teams to meet operational and strategic security requirements.

• Operate, maintain, and optimize CyberArk and SIEM platforms for high availability and performance.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests related to privileged access and security monitoring tools.
• Work with the Security team to implement technical changes based on security needs and threat intelligence.
• Conduct routine health checks, audits, and compliance activities for CyberArk and SIEM systems.
• Contribute to documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support escalations when necessary.

Mandatory Skills:

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with CyberArk: configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience with SIEM tools such as LogRhythm, Splunk, QRadar, or similar.
• Strong understanding of identity & access management and security operations.
• Experience with incident and change management processes in ITIL environments.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
