Finance Services Senior Professional - AUSPAC FAO General Accounting page is loaded## Finance Services Senior Professional - AUSPAC FAO General Accountinglocations: Cebu, Philippinestime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: # # **Primary Details**Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeProcessing and posting of journals, closing of books, analyzing and preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis**Primary Responsibilities**• Ensure all processes are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion• Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures• Ensure compliance on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures.•Establish and maintain an efficient and effective relationship with regional stakeholders•Prepare and post accurate Journal entries• Maintain and ensure working files are updated and correct• Assist with special investigations/projects concerning a wide-range of commercial accounting issues as required.• Assist with Monthly/Quarterly QBE Group reporting packs in accordance with Accounting standards and group reporting instructions.• Assist with monthly/ quarterly adhoc requirements pertaining to the preparations of necessary items in the financial statements and closing of booksRequired Education• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceRequired Experience• NARequired Licenses/Certifications• Certified Public Accountant**Preferred Competencies/Skills**• Sound technical understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures• Problem solving skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proficiency in MS tools• Analytical Skills• Keen to details**Preferred Experience**• At least 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in the General Accounting**Preferred Knowledge**• Broad knowledge of Financial and Accounting Procedures**QBE Cultural DNA**• Everything we do at QBE is underpinned by our DNA (which interlinks seven cultural elements) – because we know it's not just what we do that matters, it's how we do it that makes the difference.
