As part of our rapid expansion in Asia, we are currently searching for a Senior Governance Officer for our Philippines office. Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily operations within the Governance team, including preparation, review and approval of legal documents and filings across multiple jurisdictions. Draft, develop and continuously optimize standardized and bespoke legal documentation such as letters, minutes, resolutions, agreements and complex corporate instruments. Manage client onboarding, oversee bank account openings, coordinate with financial institutions, and ensure KYC and due diligence documentation is in line with global compliance standards. Ensure exceptional client service through cross‑functional communication, prompt issue resolution and continuous process improvement. Direct strategic oversight of AML, regulatory reporting and tax compliance services to clients. Monitor changes in corporate governance and regulatory requirements, update internal policies and advise management and clients. Train, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering knowledge‑sharing and professional growth. Identify opportunities to expand Bolder’s governance service offering in Asia, support business development, and participate in client pitches. Represent the company in external forums, industry associations and regulatory engagements. Perform additional duties and lead special projects as required. Ideal Skills and Competencies 10+ years of progressive experience in financial or legal organizations, with expertise in governance, compliance and regulatory matters. Exceptional data management skills, handling large volumes of sensitive information with precision and confidentiality. Collaborative team player who works harmoniously with cross‑functional teams and prioritizes client service. Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills, able to explain complex legal and regulatory concepts clearly. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
