This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in public accounting and direct experience preparing a variety of complex tax returns. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring client compliance, providing quality service, and contributing to the overall success of the tax practice. Responsibilities Prepare and review a wide range of federal and state tax returns, including Individual (1040), S‑Corporation (1120‑S), C‑Corporation (1120), and Partnership (1065) returns. Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information to ensure accurate and timely tax filings. Research tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice and ensure compliance. Work closely with clients and firm management to resolve tax issues and implement effective tax strategies. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking industry trends and changes in tax legislation. Assist in tax planning and projections for clients. Opportunity to assist with Non‑profit (990) tax preparation (a plus). Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. Minimum of 3 years of public accounting tax experience (individual, S‑Corp, C‑Corp, & partnership returns). Non‑profit tax experience is a plus. US CPA eligible required, US CPA preferred. Knowledge of general accounting principles. Experience with Quickbooks, ProSystems fx Tax, ProSystems fx Engagement, and CCH Axcess Tax is a plus.
