Telemarketer / Appointment Setter (Full-Time, Remote)

Premier Card Machines is a UK-based provider of payment solutions, partnering with Dojo to offer cutting-edge card machines and flexible business funding to small businesses. We pride ourselves on helping merchants boost their cash flow and upgrade their payment systems. We are now expanding our team and looking for a talented Telemarketer/Appointment Setter to join us in promoting Dojo business funding and card machine services to businesses across the UK.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced outbound telemarketer to call UK businesses and set appointments for our sales team. In this role, you will be making 150–250 calls per day to offer business owners our Dojo fast, flexible funding solutions and to schedule demos/appointments for Dojo card payment machines. This is a full-time remote/work-from-home position, working 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM UK time (which is approximately 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM Philippine time). You will use our provided CRM (HubSpot) and VOIP phone software (Aircall) to manage leads and calls, and we will track your work using time-tracking tools for efficiency. Key Responsibilities
  • High-Volume Outbound Calling: Make 150–250 cold calls daily to UK businesses from provided lists, introducing Dojo’s business funding offers and card machine services .
  • Appointment Setting: Engage decision-makers professionally and persuasively to book appointments for senior sales representatives (either for card machine demonstrations or detailed funding consultations).
  • Lead Sourcing: Proactively research and source new prospects (via online directories, Google, etc.) in addition to working through provided leads, continuously expanding the calling pipeline.
  • Cancelled Customers: Re-engage with previously cancelled customers , presenting competitive pricing and product features to win them back to Dojo.
  • Business Funding Qualification: Clearly explain how funding works , qualify customer interest, and set up appointments for funding consultations and quotes.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain all lead data in HubSpot CRM , including call outcomes, notes, and follow-up schedules, ensuring accurate tracking of the sales pipeline.
  • Follow-Up & Re-Engagement: Send follow-up emails or messages after calls when necessary and re-contact interested or cold leads to maximize conversions .
  • Performance Targets: Consistently work toward daily and weekly KPIs , including call volume, appointments set, and conversion rates. Actively contribute to refining call scripts and sharing feedback to improve overall team results.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Telemarketing Experience: At least 3 years of proven success in telemarketing, outbound sales, or appointment setting (B2B calling experience is a strong plus). You should be comfortable with cold calling and handling objections.
  • Excellent English Communication: Near-native English fluency with a neutral or British-sounding accent is required, for seamless communication with UK clients. (Many Filipino professionals have neutral accents that UK customers find easy to understand.)
  • Strong Phone Skills: Confident, clear speaking voice and ability to build rapport quickly over the phone. Must sound 100% professional and fluent to UK listeners.
  • Results-Driven: Highly self-motivated and target-oriented. Able to handle rejection and continue calling with a positive attitude to meet appointment and sales goals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM systems (especially HubSpot) and dialer phone software (e.g. Aircall) is preferred. Must be able to learn new software tools quickly.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Excellent time management and record-keeping skills. Every call and outcome must be logged accurately. Attention to detail in updating CRM and following process is a must.
  • Remote Work Setup: You must have a reliable high-speed internet connection, a working computer, and a quiet workspace for making calls. A good quality headset for clear voice calls is recommended.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is nice to have but not required. Relevant training or certifications in sales/marketing or call center work will be a plus.
Work Schedule & Environment
  • Work Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM UK time (London timezone). This will be a night shift in the Philippines (roughly 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM PH time, adjusting with daylight savings as needed). Ensure you are comfortable with these hours before applying.
  • Remote Setup: This is a 100% remote, home-based role. You will collaborate with our UK team online. We provide access to HubSpot CRM for lead management and Aircall for making VoIP calls.
  • Tools & Tracking: We will set you up in our systems on Day 1. Time-tracking software (e.g., Time Doctor or similar) will be used during work hours to monitor productivity and ensure efficiency. You’ll receive training on our products (Dojo funding and card machines) and scripts to help you get started. Ongoing support will be available whenever you have questions or need assistance.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Base Pay: We offer a competitive hourly rate (paid in PHP or equivalent USD), commensurate with your experience and skills. For an experienced Philippine telemarketer, the starting pay can be around $500+ USD per month (approx ₱28,000+), with higher rates for more experienced candidates. (According to market data, full-time telemarketers in the Philippines typically earn between $500 to $1,500 USD per month depending on experience.) Your exact starting rate will be discussed based on your qualifications.
  • Performance Bonuses: On top of the base pay, you will earn bonus commissions for each successful sale or funded deal and for each completed card machine appointment that leads to a sale. We believe in rewarding results – the more you sell or the more quality appointments you set, the more you can earn. (Details of the commission structure will be provided, but expect generous incentives per closed deal.)
  • Weekly Payments: We pay weekly via bank transfer or another agreed method, so you don’t have to wait long to receive your earnings.
  • Benefits: While this is a contractor/freelance position, we still strive to treat our team well. We offer paid training on our products and processes. Long-term employees may be eligible for performance reviews, rate increases, and an end-of-year bonus. (Philippines 13th-month pay can be discussed as you grow with the company.)
