Base pay range$7,800.00/yr - $8,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Rent Collection: Initiate and follow up on rent payment reminders, ensuring tenants are aware of their payment due dates
- Communication: Engage with tenants via phone, email, or messaging platforms to discuss payment issues, establish payment plans, and provide assistance when needed
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all rent payments, payment plans, and communication logs in our property management system
- Dispute Resolution: Work collaboratively with tenants to resolve any disputes or questions related to their rent payments or leases
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding outstanding payments, collection efforts, and tenant interactions
- Compliance: Ensure that all collection processes adhere to legal requirements and company policies
- Previous experience in rent collection, property management, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively
- Proficiency in property management software or databases (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio) is a plus
- Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy when dealing with tenants
- Knowledge of rental laws and regulations in the applicable market
