Yondu, Inc. is hiring a Data Cloud Engineer (Python & SQL) in Taguig, Philippines.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage tools and applications to enhance productivity on enterprise data platforms, including data warehouse tools, data access management, metadata management, and data quality monitoring.
  • Configure and implement security modules to ensure controlled and encrypted network access, storage, data masking, and integrity, including validation, quality checks, and checksums.
  • Develop and maintain data lifecycle management processes like backup, archiving, recovery, and data purging.
  • Identify and implement API-driven automation solutions to streamline data security, access controls, metadata, and lifecycle management.
Skills and Behaviors:
  • Strong understanding of data management and governance, including metadata, data quality, master data, and lifecycle management.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends in data security, automation, and management.
  • Proficient in Python for automation, developing scripts, and building web apps with frameworks like Django.
  • Analytical skills to design effective solutions for complex data challenges.
  • Flexible to learn new tools and adapt to changing technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in data management and governance, including metadata, data lifecycle, quality, and master data management.
  • Familiarity with data governance platforms, metadata management, and data quality tools.
  • Experience with SQL and Python is required.
  • Preferred: experience with Google App Sheets, App Scripts, Google Workspace APIs, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Streaming & Big Data, and cloud platforms like AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
