This job description reflects the responsibilities, qualifications, and employment details for the Cloud Engineer position. Responsibilities Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of assigned IT infrastructure and systems in accordance with bank standards and MTPP compliance laws and regulations. This includes managing assigned IT operations and functions to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. Acts as the lead for application system enhancements or mid to complex infrastructure projects and changes. Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions. Directs operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Assigns workload to identify and balance the duties and responsibilities performed by each project team member. Ensures that project adheres to quality assurance standards and guidelines. Reviews performance of existing application system in production and recommends enhancements/modifications for improved efficiency. Ensures adherence to the bank’s methodology and standards on systems development, information security and audit. Recommends solutions to address audit findings. Qualifications Graduate of any IT-related course At least 10 years of experience in the areas of application systems design, analysis, development and maintenance work involving mainframe / midrange / microcomputer systems Relevant exposure to banking operations Knowledgeable in Project management methods & techniques Cloud - Native/Cloud Certification is a great advantage Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Information Technology Industries: Banking Note: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at RCBC by 2x.
