Position Summary

The Process Engineer will play a critical role in developing, documenting, and optimizing Essentia’s core business processes within the Project Management Organization (PMO). This individual will partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, construction, operations, and leadership—to define clear workflows and standards that align with EOS principles. The goal is to create scalable, repeatable processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and accountability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Document Core Processes
  • Collaborate with leadership and department heads to identify, define, and map out core processes that support business growth and align with EOS pillars.
  • Develop clear, standardized documentation and visual workflows (e.g., process maps, SOPs).
  • Process Improvement and Optimization
  • Analyze current practices, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of new and existing processes.
  • Project Management Integration
  • Partner with project managers and teams to ensure processes are integrated into project execution and delivery.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure adoption of new tools and methodologies.
  • Training and Support
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on new or revised processes, ensuring clarity and alignment across departments.
  • Serve as a process champion, reinforcing the importance of EOS principles in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in process engineering, project management, or operations, ideally within engineering, construction, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead initiatives with minimal supervision and drive change across teams.
