Job Overview: The QA / QC / TSD Senior Supervisor position is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and comply with internal and external requirements. The role supervises the QA/QC team in conducting inspections, tests, and audits, while also leading the Technical Services Department (TSD) in addressing product-related issues, client concerns, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position acts as the bridge between production, R&D, and customer service to ensure product reliability, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance (QA): Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards. Monitor compliance with ISO standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements. Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively. Lead document control activities, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals. Quality Control (QC): Supervise the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments. Review and approve QC reports, test results, and certificates of analysis (COA). Investigate quality deviations, non-conformities, and product complaints. Technical Services Department (TSD): Manage technical support for product applications, trials, and after-sales services. Coordinate with clients and sales teams to address technical inquiries and quality-related issues. Support new product development by providing quality input and feedback. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend technical improvements or process modifications. Leadership and Reporting: Supervise and train QA/QC/TSD personnel, ensuring their technical competency and professional growth. Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics (e.g., rejection rates, CAPA effectiveness, customer complaints). Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain departments to drive continuous improvement. Lead cross-functional teams during problem-solving or product validation activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field. At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC and Technical Services, or Compliance preferably in manufacturing, food, or industrial production. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, FDA , and other quality management systems. Experienced in handling root cause analysis, CAPA, audit systems, and process improvement initiatives. Proficient in MS Office and laboratory management systems. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Effective leadership and people management skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability. Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
