Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Warehousing
- Oversee the overall operations of the Warehouse Department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other department to meet demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse leaders and operators.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Import & Export (Impex)
- Handle importation of raw materials, dies, machinery, and spare parts; including coordination with customs brokers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
- Process export documentation for finished stamped metal parts/products for international clients.
- Ensure accuracy of shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and certificates of origin.
PEZA Compliance
- Process and monitor PEZA-related documents such as Letter of Authority (LOA), AAFS, and IED (Import Entry Declaration).
- Ensure compliance with PEZA guidelines on importation, exportation, and transfers of materials, machinery, and supplies.
- Maintain and organize accurate records for all PEZA-related transactions for audit and reporting.
- Serve as liaison with PEZA officials for inspections, clearances, and submission of reports.
Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with Finance for payment processing, Letter of Credit (LC) arrangements, and supplier account reconciliation.
- Monitor lead times and delivery schedules to avoid production downtime.
- Prepare periodic reports on purchasing KPIs, shipment status, and compliance metrics.
- Maintain a master file for all procurement, import/export, and PEZA documentation.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehousing, preferably in a manufacturing or metal stamping company.
- Strong working knowledge of PEZA regulations and experience handling PEZA documentation and audits.
- Familiarity with metal stamping processes, tooling, and raw material specifications is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
