Job Overview This Encoder role is responsible for coordinating with training centres and medical providers when necessary, as well as contacting seafarers on the process of mobilization. Key Responsibilities Ensures timely processing of visa and other formalities relating to the joining crew. Prints out CVs of proposed candidates for certain positions as requested by the Crew Managers. Saves document scanned copies to seafarer’s individual 201 folders on the shared drive. Updates ex-crew records in the crew system. Updates training/license certificates of all crew in the crew system. Encodes additional crew for allotment and other details. Acknowledges all scanned documents by signing on the requirements checklist. Returns all crew documents to the requesting personnel. Performs such other tasks as may be assigned by superiors.
