Maintenance/janitor

About the Role We are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance/Janitor to join our team. This role combines routine cleaning duties with basic maintenance tasks to help keep our facility safe, clean, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities Janitorial Duties: Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces. Empty trash and recycling bins. Restock cleaning and restroom supplies. Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. Maintenance Duties: Perform basic repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, patching walls, or adjusting fixtures. Conduct routine inspections of building equipment and systems. Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, or HVAC troubleshooting (as allowed by skill level). Report major repair needs to the supervisor or management. Support facility setup, furniture moves, and minor installations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in janitorial work, building maintenance, or a related field is a plus. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and minor repair skills. Ability to lift up to (X) lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Good communication skills and strong attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
