- In charge of providing and administering health care services and programs to employees
- Medical Doctor Degree from an accredited school and licensed to practice
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
1.) Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating of employees in order to meet their medical needs
2.) Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
3.) Provides precautions/preventions and prescribes medical treatment and medicine to employees
4.) Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention
5.) Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from employees
6.) Strengthen the health of employees; audit the food and facilities; Periodic assessments of workplace hazards and suggestions as to the prevention of work related injuries
7.) Provides medical advises and assistance when needed by company due to accident, etc.
8.) Promotes good health education/programs in conjunction with other health professionals; 9.) Coordinates with nurses on how to educate employees on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources
10.) Participates in quality improvement, continuing education and other health care programs established by the company
11.) Establish and implement continuing education/training on all medical service to subordinate; 12.) Keeping up to date with medical developments, new drugs, treatments and medications including complementary medicine
13.) Coordinates and executes all medical service activities under very close interface with relevant SBUs/Departments and persons to ensure smooth and effectiveness of the medical service
14.) Communicates and implements all medical services on accident or normal condition. Appropriate responses and recommendation is required to prevent and maintain safe and healthy work environment
15.) Properly document all medical assessment
16.) Assists in the formulation of medical policy at the direction of the Head
