We’re building a fair and ethical platform for AI developers to collaborate with domain experts to train bespoke AI models, partnering with researchers at Anthropic, Character.AI, Imbue, Stanford, and the University of Pennsylvania.

About this role: we are expanding into the APAC region and growing our team to broaden our global footprint. This role is for a Full Stack Engineer joining our platform engineering team to develop the next-generation human data collection infrastructure for AI/ML development, influence product strategy, and contribute to our startup trajectory.

Responsibilities
  • Full-stack development from architecture and specifications to live deployments.
  • Translate, break down, and estimate the product roadmap into features.
  • Lead user testing sessions with stakeholders on some features you implement.
  • Focus on optimization, security, and code cleanliness.
  • Contribute to maintaining a best-in-class quality pipeline, including linting, CI/CD, and usability tests.
What you’ll need
  • Ambition to consistently test and optimize code and queries.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with enterprise architecture and a deep understanding of REST/GraphQL API patterns.
  • Proficiency in React or a recent JavaScript framework, plus knowledge of Storybook and CSS preprocessors.
  • Professional experience with Django.
  • Experience with Webpack bundler and optimizing builds, or the willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of different database systems (RDBMS) — we use Postgres.
  • Understanding of securing API endpoints and microservice architecture challenges.
  • Familiarity with product and design lifecycles, collaborating with designers and product managers.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with current trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with GraphQL — such as Apollo, Relay, or Graphene.
  • Familiarity with Celery, Redis, Webpack.
  • DevOps experience — automated pipelines that build AWS clusters.
  • Interest in improving developer tooling, including a one-command setup for a full local dev environment that mimics prod.
  • Exposure to data science or data engineering.
