Overview Senior Network Security Architect role requiring 8+ years of experience in network security, including at least 3 years in a security architect position. The role involves designing and managing Cyber Security Operations, incident response, and vulnerability management, with hands-on experience across multiple security technologies. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Cyber Security Operations, incident response, and vulnerability management programs. Lead network security architecture across hybrid/cloud environments, including policy creation, firewall rule sets, network segmentation, and access controls. Develop and enforce security policies, NAT, app-ID, user-ID, content-ID, and URL filtering configurations. Collaborate with multi-vendor security solutions and ensure best practices for cloud security. Automate security processes through scripting and security automation tools. Technical Expertise Hands-on experience with: Checkpoint Firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls (PA Series, Panorama, GlobalProtect), Cisco ISE, Cloudflare WAF, Illumio Core, Proofpoint email security, Tuffin Secure Change+, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZDX. Deep understanding of VPNs, IPS/IDS, SSL decryption, and core network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF). Strong knowledge of security policies, rule sets, NAT, app-ID, user-ID, content-ID, and URL filtering. Cloud security best practices and multi-vendor solutions for hybrid and cloud environments. Familiarity with security automation and scripting to streamline processes. Secondary Skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST. Willingness to respond to on-call incidents and security alerts when necessary. Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of experience in network security with at least 3 years in a security architect role. Hands-on experience with the listed technologies and concepts above. Technical proficiency and ability to design secure architectures for network and cloud environments.
