Job Title: Market Research Analyst Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Market Research Analyst (Lead) to manage a research project focused on transformers and switchgears in the Visayas region. The role involves data collection from electric cooperatives, analyzing market trends, and preparing comprehensive reports to support business strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, and comfortable working with both technical and commercial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement the research project on transformers and switchgears in the Visayas.
  • Gather data through surveys, interviews, site visits, and online sources.
  • Coordinate with electric cooperatives and other stakeholders for information collection.
  • Organize, validate, and process collected data for analysis.
  • Develop reports, charts, and presentations summarizing research findings.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks based on research insights.
  • Collaborate with the central office to ensure alignment in methodologies and reporting formats.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Preferably 1–2 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or technical sales in the electrical equipment sector.
  • Familiarity with transformers, switchgears, or the power distribution industry is an advantage but not required.

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of transformers and switchgears (types, applications, and specifications).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including charts, pivot tables, and data summaries.
  • Strong skills in report writing and presentation of findings.
  • Comfortable with online research, calls, site visits, and interviews for data gathering.

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, cooperatives, and stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel within the Visayas region for field research when required.
