About You & the Role
Are you passionate about building solutions, solving problems, and learning new technologies? We're looking for a Junior Developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys turning business requirements into reliable, high-quality applications.
In this role, you will work closely with developers, business users, and stakeholders to support system development, enhancements, and production support initiatives. You'll gain hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle while contributing to solutions that support key business operations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Analyze business requirements and program specifications to understand project objectives.
- Develop, revise, and test application programs based on approved requirements.
- Prepare test data, execute unit testing, and validate system functionality.
- Assist in system testing, implementation activities, and user training sessions.
- Create and maintain technical and system documentation.
- Support the resolution of system issues and enhancement requests.
- Review code and outputs for quality, accuracy, and adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
What Success Looks Like
- Solutions and enhancements are delivered on schedule.
- Business requirements are accurately translated into working applications.
- Assigned projects and tasks are completed with minimal delays.
- System issues and enhancement requests are resolved within agreed service levels.
- Documentation, reports, and audit requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Development work consistently follows established SDLC and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in systems development, banking technology, or application support.
- Knowledge of system development methodologies, testing, and production support.
- Familiarity with system design concepts and software development best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies.
