What are we looking for?

We are in search of a Quoting and Invoicing team member who will be primarily responsible for preparing accurate quotes for products & services of our partner who is a Fire Safety Solutions business based in AU. We’re interested in hiring someone who is motivated, detail-oriented and most importantly, a team player.

What are you expected to do?

• Gathering Information: As a Q&A team member you will work closely with other team members in Australia to gather all the necessary details and specifications required for preparing a quote. This may include understanding the customer’s needs, reviewing products or service requirements, and determining any customer specific requests.
• Quote Preparation: Based on the gathered information and pricing analysis, Q&A team members prepare detailed and accurate quotes that outline the cost breakdown and terms of the proposed product and service. They ensure that the quotes align with the customer’s requirements and any applicable regulations or contractual obligations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Q&A team members will collaborate with various internal departments such as Sales, Quoting and Invoicing Teams, Technicians & Supervisors, Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of the quotes. They will communicate with customers to address any queries or negotiations related to the quote, providing clarification on pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Continuous Improvement: Review and refine the quoting process to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. They may leverage tools and technologies to streamline the process, automate certain tasks, and maintain a database of pricing information and historical quotes.
• Pricing Analysis: They analyse pricing structures, cost factors, and market conditions to ensure the quotes are financially viable and competitive. This involves considering factors such as overheads, profit margins, and pricing strategies.
• Overall, the role of a Q&A team member requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, knowledge of pricing strategies, effective communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have 3-5 years of experience in quoting, estimating and invoicing within the construction, service delivery, fire protection, or engineering industry
• You have a strong grasp of engineering concepts to accurately interpret project specifications and provide precise quotes
• You possess knowledge of the operations of a building services/facilities maintenance organisation
• You are self-motivated, proactive, and a problem solver
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• You exhibit good computer and administration skills

This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
