We're looking for an Accountant to own the record-to-report process for assigned legal entities. You'll act as the primary accountant for your entities, handling day-to-day tasks including bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations — while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and contributing to the APAC Finance vision.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants real ownership from day one and exposure to a regional finance environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead month-end close — journal entries, allocations, and timely book completion
Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and flux/trend commentary
Create and post intercompany transactions, including monthly recharges, and ensure all intercompany accounts are in balance
Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with Treasury, Payroll, AP, or AR teams
Own balance sheet reconciliations and surface risks and opportunities proactively
Collaborate with the tax team on reconciliations and related journal entries
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant information to the Statutory and Compliance team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (CPA certification is a plus)
At least 4 years of experience in general accounting
Solid understanding of accounting standards and how they apply in transaction and variance analysis
Strong communicator — comfortable engaging with stakeholders, auditors, and colleagues at all levels
Deadline-driven and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
Self-directed with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
Curious about emerging tools and technologies, including AI
OTHERS:
Hybrid — minimum 3 days in office
Day shift, with occasional flexibility based on business needs
Follows Philippine holidays
Reports to the Senior Team Lead, General Accounting
