pasig, metro manila, Philippines Hammerjack Pty Ltd Full-time ₱3 Contract

Amazing opportunity to work for an Australian wholesale telco running its own ASN and carrier-grade infrastructure, carrying NBN, business internet and voice services for hundreds of Australian MSPs.

We are looking for a Network Engineer to own the direction of that network, not to manage a team, but to be the technical peer who plans the change, gets in the CLI, and makes it happen. This is a hands‑on IC role. You'll still be the one writing the playbook and cutting the change at 2am, not handing a design to someone else to build.

What you'll be doing

  • Configuring, testing and deploying changes to routers, switches, BNGs and firewalls across a national network
  • Writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks for provisioning, backup/restore and validation moving toward config as code
  • Owning BNG and subscriber management: subscriber termination, AAA/RADIUS, session handling and scaling
  • Finding the problems before partners do, and bringing costed, reasoned recommendations then building the ones that get approved
  • Working Australian business hours, with after‑hours availability for maintenance windows and escalations

What you need

  • Current or recent hands‑on experience inside a telco, ISP or carrier network, enterprise‑only backgrounds won’t transfer here, and this is screened hard
  • Real BNG/BRAS subscriber management experience
  • Ansible automation you've personally written for network devices, playbooks, roles, inventory, idempotency
  • Deep routing and switching: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, VXLAN, eVPN
  • The confidence to put a recommendation in front of leadership and defend it
  • Based within 2-3 hours of Makati (there's a serviced office there)

What's on offer

  • PHP 200,000-240,000/month basic, plus HMO, 13th month and benefits
  • Health insurance.
  • Regular virtual and in‑person company events throughout the year, including our Mid‑Year Celebration, Year‑End Party, and Team Building.
  • The role is primarily remote , with a requirement to work onsite once per quarter and occasionally as needed for team collaboration.
  • Full‑time work from home, high‑end setup provided
  • Direct line to the CEO, no four layers of approval between your idea and it getting built
  • Training and certification support
