Permanent Substitute Teacher at PH Miller School (PK-1 st Grade) for the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Substitute teaching certificate required
- PEL, Type 03 or Type 04preferred
- ESL preferred but not required
Successful candidate will be placed in a permanent substitute position at PH Miller School for the remainder of the school year. Pay is $140/day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and supervision for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, following provided lesson plans and maintaining established classroom routines.
- Adapt to diverse classroom environments and grade levels.
- Collaborate with staff and administration to support students’ academic and behavioral needs.
- Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assist with non-teaching duties as needed, such as supervising transitions, lunch, and other common areas.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration to ensure instructional objectives are met.
Terms of Employment:
- Full-time position for the remainder of the school year.
- $140/day
- Schedule follows the regular school calendar and hours.
