Responsibilities
  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
  • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
  • Develop risk management plans
  • Print in 3D
Experience and qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Area of work experience: Finite element analysis (FEA), Research and development, Fabrication, Design
  • Area of specialization: Hydraulics and fluids, System integration, Robotics or controls
  • Computer and technology knowledge: ANASYS, SolidWorks, CAD
Skills and personal attributes
  • Accurate, excellent oral and written communication, organized, reliable, team player, punctual, hardworking, honest, ability to multitask

  • Salary: $130,000 to $160,000 per year, 40 hours/week (to be negotiated)
