The Mechanical Engineer specializing in Fit-Out and Maintenance (FOM) oversees mechanical systems for Daiichi’s completed projects in commercial and residential buildings. The role involves ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of mechanical equipment post-construction, focusing on building improvement and ongoing maintenance.
Job Requirements

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate development.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
  • Proven experience in supervising and monitoring construction works.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervises and monitors mechanical installations and related construction activities.
  • Reviews mechanical designs and plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepares material quantity surveys and estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project budgets.
  • Monitors and evaluates Owner Supplied Materials (OSM) for quality and quantity compliance.
