Job Summary: The position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of the monthly Business Unit Financials (BUF) and Account Profitability Analysis (APA) reports to determine the actual performance of profit centers at Group, Division and RC levels. How will you contribute: Monitors compliance of various units in the submission of set deadlines of files/data/reports needed for preparation the Profitability Reports (APA/BUF). Ensures that all data coming from different sources are validated and adjustments and volume/income for double counting are approved before these are processed as input files in the per APA/BUF report. Discloses to the Section Head problems on data and helps formulate action to be taken for immediate resolution. Coordinates and discusses with Operations, IT and Planning Officers action needed to resolve problems identified or to get additional information related to management reporting. Ensures the processing of the APA/BUF Reports and related schedules Ensures on time release of the Segment Profitability Reports and Summaries and analysis. The Segments’ Quarterly BUF is used as reference by the Marketing Group Heads in reporting its actual financial performance vs. budget during the quarterly performance review with the Chairperson and the President Ensures timely release of NPL per Segment report and the accompanied month-on-month and year-on-year analysis. Works with the Section Head in identifying tasks and processes for improvements and implements this in the Section. Provides user requirements/change requests, performs UAT and gives updates as to the Status of assigned processes to the Section Head. Creates and seeks approval on new/revised standard templates with formulas and linked cells to main and sub-reports and schedules to be used by the Department/Division to facilitate preparation of internal reports and adhoc reports to minimize errors. Regular monitoring of controls and internal validation to attain a “Satisfactory” audit rating. Reports and schedules are consistent to the FS BS & IS with details traceable to the Trial Balance. What will make you successful: Graduate of Financial and/or Business related course with background in Accounting Has expert knowledge of own area and adequate understanding of other fields ((Uses and Sources, NRFF Analysis, Balance Sheet and Income Statement, transfer pricing, management accounting) are required. Must be knowledgeable of the Bank’s Operations, Chart of Accounts, products and services of the segments/groups. Experience in basic Accounting, credit related policies, database management, general accounting standards and procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
