Position Summary:

The Software Developer (OutSystems) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company’s customer and contractor portal using the OutSystems low-code platform. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring seamless system integrations, and implementing necessary upgrades and security measures. The developer will also provide technical support and maintain comprehensive documentation to support ongoing system improvements.

Work from Home
Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM Melbourne Time Zone or 8 AM to 5 PM Philippine Time
*Following Australian Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the customer and contractor portal using OutSystems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the portal with internal systems and third-party applications through API connections and data exchange protocols.
  • Implement software upgrades, security patches, and feature enhancements based on evolving business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide user support, and ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Follow best practices for software development, security, and compliance within the OutSystems framework.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience developing applications using OutSystems or other low-code development platforms.
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience integrating systems using APIs, web services, and security protocols.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into functional software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with software security best practices and system performance optimization.
