Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a User Experience Lead to support the daily delivery of Digital Transformation (DTX) services. The role focuses on bridging the gap between technology and user productivity through the development, implementation, and enhancement of communication and training tools. This individual will enable internal users to maximize the efficiency and value of DTX services. The position requires close collaboration with Service Owners, Service Managers, Business Engagement Managers, Omya's Marketing and Communications teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute user experience strategies for DTX services in coordination with Service Owners and Managers.
- Measure and report on user adoption success rates for each DTX service.
- Support solution design and implementation to ensure successful user adoption of new services and tools.
- Deliver training and adoption strategies for DTX services, particularly focusing on tools like Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- Ensure proper setup and usability of DTX service delivery tools to enhance end-user experience.
- Collaborate with Integration Managers and Key Users to align services with business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date training and communication materials in partnership with the DTX Communications team.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for user training and adoption specific to business department needs.
- Champion end-user services, boosting collaboration and productivity through tools such as O365, Teams, SharePoint, Digital Office, and Meeting Room Technologies.
- Promote new and existing technologies and drive best practices in user adoption.
- Influence and empower users to self-solve through coaching and enablement.
- Work closely with Corporate Communications to drive IT and tool adoption.
- Build and manage relationships across core business and technology teams.
- Stay current on digital technologies, especially End-User Services, and related roadmaps.
- Create engaging content (articles, videos, presentations) to inform users of available technologies.
- Define and implement methods for tracking metrics aligned with SLAs and KPIs in coordination with the UX Lead and DTX Operations Manager.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, delivering service for Operational Technology, Applications, and Infrastructure in a global, multinational environment.
- Solid background in managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Experience in maintaining and operating complex, high-value solutions with strong customer satisfaction.
Skills:
- Recent certifications in M365 and/or User Adoption & Communication.
- ITIL v3/v4 certification preferred.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for technology, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
- Experience in driving communication, change management, and adoption campaigns.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives.
Other Requirements:
- Comfortable working in a virtual, global IT environment within a matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel as needed (minimal).
