Job DescriptionJob Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree holder, with a highly preferred degree in Business/ Marketing/ Advertising or IT related course.
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in successfully developing and executing SEO and SEM campaigns.
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry.
- Strong knowledge and deep understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Reviews.
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Knowledge of Wordpress CMS (Elementor Page Builder).
- Fluent in English, both in written and verbal communication.
- Open to work ON-SITE (Monday to Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and visitor trends.
- Monitor and analyze trends and traffic on social media platforms, particularly Google and Meta.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Supervisor to manage Google Ads campaigns.
- Maintain and update information on the official Google Business Profile and respond to Google Reviews.
- Analyze direct and potential competitors and develop a customized SEO strategy for the website and social media platforms.
- Document SEO optimization guidelines to serve as a reference by the company.
- Demonstrate ability to meet tight deadlines. Weekly and monthly SEO reports are required to clearly outline accomplishments and action plans.
- Upload blogs, promotional pages, and other materials prepared by the marketing team to the website and relevant channels to enhance search engine visibility and increase web traffic.
- Work closely with the Web Developer to maintain Shinagawa's websites; a solid understanding of web-based technologies is expected.
- Discuss updates from the Japanese staff.
- Other tasks that management may assign from time to time relevant to job position.

Job DescriptionSEO/SEM Specialist
We are looking for a skilled SEO/SEM Specialist with a strong focus on on-page and off-page SEO, content creation, and website optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of SEO strategy and execution, can write well-researched and meaningful content (not AI-driven or generic), and is familiar with website structure and optimization. A working knowledge of SEM (especially Google Ads) is a strong plus but secondary to SEO capabilities.
You will be working closely with our existing SEO team to split account responsibilities and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive website audits and implement on-site and off-site SEO strategies.
- Create high-quality, engaging content such as blog posts and Google My Business updates based on SEO and competitive research.
- Optimize client websites to improve search rankings, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the team to manage a portfolio of client accounts.
- Analyze SEO performance and provide actionable insights using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Stay current with SEO best practices, trends, and algorithm changes.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as an SEO specialist with a focus on technical SEO and content creation.
- Strong content writing skills; ability to produce original, relevant content without over-reliance on AI tools.
- Familiarity with website optimization principles (basic understanding of front-end/backend helpful).
- Experience in using SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Ability to audit and improve websites based on keyword research and performance data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts.
Nice-to-Have
- Basic knowledge of SEM platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Understanding of campaign management and marketing strategy is a plus.
- Familiarity with website platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience managing or collaborating with clients in a digital marketing setting.
