ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER Section: Auxiliary Services Department: Bills Pay, Shared Services, & Auxiliary Services – Product Management Group Responsibilities Defining a vision for a product. Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products. Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses. Presents and aligns the product roadmap to important stakeholders. Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap. Leads and conceptualizes the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology. Acts as the lead point of contact for stakeholders of the product assigned. Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to align and collaborate on the product vision, strategy, features, processes, and prioritization. Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, technical & development, operations, marketing, and user enablement. Drives the product development process, including ideation, prototyping, testing and launch, with a focus on user experience and product quality. Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders. Creates and refines business or product requirements into formal documentation. Works closely with the scrum team throughout the product development life cycle. Defines and executes go-to-market plans, ensuring product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful. Develops and maintains tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment. Monitors the product development lifecycle to ensure capabilities are delivered within scope, budget, and time. Analyzes customer behavior and available industry data to implement capabilities that improve the overall customer experience of the company’s products and services. Develops knowledge about product development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients and partners, and industry trends. Ensures timely and successful delivery of solutions and improves end-to-end customer experience. Strives to continuously improve, grow, and innovate the products being managed and maintain good product performance. Ensures all important documents and artifacts of project management are organized, complete, up-to-date, and properly stored. Qualifications Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, or related fields. At least two to three years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development (Auxiliary Services such as Buy Load, Cash-in/Cash-out, Remittance, Insurance/Micro Insurance, and other auxiliary services). Strong knowledge of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) and methods of development such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall. Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen. Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders. High degree of organization, initiative, and personal accountability. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills; deep understanding of market conditions and trends. Experience in Auxiliary services is a plus (e.g., Buy Load, Cash-in/Cash-out, Remittance, Insurance/Micro Insurance). #J-18808-Ljbffr
