Weve reached another milestone in 2023 when we started to branch out into retail aiming to have 100 stores in the next 5 years Overview Role: QA Engineer (Freelancer) Responsibilities Develop and execute test cases for various functionalities of our e-commerce platform, including website navigation, product browsing and search, shopping cart, checkout process, payment gateway integration, order management, promotions, and customer account features, across both our web and mobile applications. Perform thorough functional, regression, usability, and performance testing Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA. Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues. Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are resolved completely. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Provide input on improving the quality assurance processes and best practices. Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) with internal stakeholders. Monitor website and app performance and identify potential bottlenecks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on web and mobile applications. Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with various testing tools and techniques, including browser developer tools and mobile testing tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Experience testing e-commerce platforms is highly desirable. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Experience testing iOS and Android applications.
