Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil engineering projects from conception to completion. This includes designing, planning, budgeting, and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop detailed project plans and timelines, including budget estimates and resource allocation.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project requirements and constraints.
  3. Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
  4. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  5. Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Conduct quality assurance inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  7. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
  8. Provide technical expertise and support to project team members as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Proven experience in civil engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in project management roles.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  8. Experienced in roads and bridges. Working experience in a multinational company in Nigeria, specifically on roads, bridges, and civil structures is mandatory.
