Role & Responsibilities We are looking for a talented and motivated Python Developer to join our team and play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of microservices. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python and the FastAPI framework, along with a strong understanding of scalable, distributed systems. As a Python Developer you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, efficient, and scalable microservices that power our next‑generation applications. Design, develop, and deploy microservices using the FastAPI framework to support various business functionalities. Collaborate with the team to define and implement robust, secure, and scalable service architectures. Integrate external APIs and services to enhance functionality and ensure seamless data flow between components. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code , adhering to best practices in software development and security. Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Optimize microservices for performance, scalability, and maintainability , monitoring them for potential bottlenecks. Work closely with DevOps teams to containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure that features are delivered on time. Troubleshoot, debug, and fix production issues related to microservices. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the development process. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience developing backend services, with a focus on microservices architecture. Strong proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with the FastAPI framework (at least 3 years’ experience in FastAPI). Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration for deploying microservices. Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures. Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL. Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth2, JWT, etc. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Excellent problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to debug complex issues. Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working in a team‑oriented environment. Great to have Knowledge of other frameworks such as Flask, Django, or Node.js. Experience with GraphQL, Cypher, Kafka, or other messaging systems. So, what do you think?
